Learning Lab

To provide an exemplary early childhood education lab school setting for preschool ages. Our purpose is for high school students in Family and Consumer Science classes to gain field experience in practical application, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood education techniques and strategies

Unified School District of De Pere staff will have priority in enrolling their child/children in the Early Childhood Learning Lab. They may choose to enroll in preschool program and/or extended care. The remaining openings will be open to those individuals from the public at large to enroll their child/children in one of the preschool programs. Those families who are currently enrolled in the program will have priority. Registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis from the community. All children must be toilet-trained to attend the Learning Lab unless there is a medical reason he/she is unable to achieve that skill. Pull-ups should not be worn to school.

If you would like to see the Learning Lab classroom in action, use this form to schedule a tour with our classroom teacher. This will be a short, 10 minute snapshot into the life of the Learning Lab classroom and all that it brings. No children should attend the tour unless previously arranged with the staff.
