All students and families should review the Co-Curricular Code. A completed Co-curricular Code Receipt and Authorization Form must be returned to the school office before students may participate in school clubs/activities.

Academic Decathlon
Compete in ten areas: science, language and literature, music, art, mathematics, economics, social science, interview, essay and speech.
- Eligibility Requirements: Any code approved DPHS student is welcome to participate.
- Time Commitment: Practices before and after school daily.

Academic Teams
Compete against area schools in English, math, social studies, and science.

Anime Club
Each week, we come together to watch a few anime episodes or a movie. We also share resources to watch and find anime.
This club is perfect for all anime fans. Very casual and easy to simply show up. Everyone welcome!

- Time Commitment: 3:15-4:45pm Wednesdays. You can attend as many or as few meetings as you want.

Archery Club
The club welcomes beginner and experienced archers in middle and high school.
- Eligibility Requirements: Must be code approved.
- Time Commitment: Attend practices on Tuesdays at the Middle School. In March and April, practice will be held Tuesday and Thursday leading up to the state tournament.

Art Club
A community of artists of varying skill levels and interests coming together to inspire, create and discuss art.

Book Club
This is a low-key, student-led group of people who like to read and discuss the latest books. Members help decide what to read and guide the discussions.

Crochet Club
A community of people with varying skill levels (beginner to experienced) gather to inspire each other and create various projects.

Dog Club
We will work with local organizations to learn more about all aspects of dogs. We will also learn about therapy dogs as well as haveorganized dog walks. No need to own your own dog to join, everyone is welcome!

FBLA
A club for students interested in business.. Find out more about the business world by attending field trips and business-related competitions.
- Eligibility Requirements: Be enrolled in one business class.
- Time Commitment: We hold monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of every month.
- Procedures for joining: Complete the membership form and pay $30 dues.

FCA
FCCLA
FCCLA is the only in-school student organization with the family as its central focus. FCCLA is a career and technical student organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system, and it provides opportunities for active student participation at local, state, and national levels.
De Pere FCCLA focuses specifically on community service for the family, school, De Pere Community, and WIsconsin as a whole.
- Eligibility Requirements: Students must have taken at least one family and consumer science course.
- Time Commitment: We hold monthly meetings for our community focus of the month, and a meeting for socialization and bonding.
- Procedures for joining: Attend a meeting and pay $20 dues.

Forensics
The Forensic team prepares and presents speech-related and dramatic activities. Students prepare individually or in groups to present a speech, interpretive reading, or dramatic piece for competition at contests at the conference, subdistrict, district and state levels. Individual activities include:demonstration speech, extemporaneous speech,farrago (prose and poetry)
reading, four-minute speech, moments in history speech, oratory, poetry reading, prose reading, public address speech, special occasion speech, solo acting, and storytelling.

French Club
French Club is dedicated to making our school - and community better! We have various events including homecoming, powerpuff, and spirit decorating. We also raise funds that we donate to various charities throughout the year. It is open to everyone - even if you don't take French!

Friday Morning Basketball
Friday Morning Basketball is held on almost all Friday mornings during the school year from 6:00-7:00 am. This club is open to all staff and students who want to come and just have fun playing basketball. All skill levels are encouraged to come and play. Teams are formed each morning and games are played to 7 points using 1’s and 2’s. This is not an overly competitive environment and is meant to allow staff and students to have a good time and get in some great exercise on a Friday
morning.

HOPE Squad
Hope Squad is a student-to-student suicide prevention support team. The goal of Hope Squad is simple: to provide friendship, encouragement and support for peers who may be struggling.
Students are not asked to act as counselors, but rather trained to look for warnings signs of struggles, be effective listeners and to understand the importance of referring their peers to trusted adults for help if needed. The Hope Squad program is facilitated by trained staff, but students nominate their peers to serve.

Intramurals
The De Pere High School intramural program affords both boys and girls an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of individual and team sports, including dodgeball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. Activities are held on Monday nights in the gym. The intramural program is open to all students of De Pere High School.
- Eligibility Requirements: Must be code approved.
- Time Commitment: Show up on Mondays and have fun.
- Procedures for joining: Just show up whenever you can make it and sign in.
- Activity Time Period: 7:00 P.M. until finished.

Jam Session
Competitive Show Choir, Show Band, and Stage Crew.
- Eligibility Requirements: Audition ONLY and must be registered in the class for the Choir members. Band members audition and do not need to take the class. Crew members are open to whomever is interested and do not take the class.
- Time Commitment: Tuesday night; rehearsals all year, competition performances January through March, and workshops in September and October.

- Auditions are in April/May (Choir/Band) for the following year.

Key Club
Key Club is a student-led organization sponsored through Kiwanis International, which provides its members with opportunities for community service, character-building and leadership development.
- Time Commitment: meetings are every other Tuesday. We encourage as many community service hours as you can get!

Link Crew
Link Crew welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year, built on the belief that students can help students succeed. Our diverse members help create a climate of community and work to break down social barriers at school.

Math Team
The De Pere Math Team prepares for and participates in both individual and team math contests during the academic year (September to April). The team meets approximately once per week for practice or for a contest. The team has not historically traveled for contests – they are generally taken onsite and the results sent to the contest sponsors. A typical year will find the team competing in the Wisconsin Math League (6 rounds), the Mandelbrot Competition (5 rounds), the Rocket City Math League (Interschool plus 3 rounds), and the Purple Comet.
- Eligibility Requirements: A positive attitude and a liking for math and math-related activities.
- Time Commitment: Team meets once per week for 1 1/2 hours on either Tuesday or Thursday night, 5:00-6:30pm. Absences due to conflicts are understood and do not preclude joining the team. Additional personal practice time at one's own pace is recommended but optional.

Metro Math
A math team that competes against 11 area schools. Each meet consists of 4 individual rounds and 1 team round, and concludes with cookies and an award ceremony.
- Eligibility Requirements: De Pere student, 7th grade and above, who is code approved.
- Time Commitment: 5 meets throughout the year, with possible practices in between (the team decides on practices each year)

National Honor Society
The primary purpose of National Honor Society is to embody leadership, service, character, and scholarship in the choices we will make throughout high school and life. Commitment to not only academic excellence, but to a desire to serve our community and improve leadership skills are major components of NHS as well. The advisors and officers only want to see effort and improvement of these skills regardless of where you may start from, and we are here to help you do it.

Redbird Productions
Redbird Productions sponsors a musical and two additional productions in late winter and early spring. We also organize a student-directed evening of one-act performances in December.
- Eligibility Requirements: An interest in theatre, on stage or behind the scenes.
- Time Commitment: Club meets several times throughout the year especially before tryouts for a production.
- Procedures for joining: Show up to a meeting and/or give your name to a club officer or Ms. Voskamp.
- Activity Time Period: Be involved with one or more productions/activities per your schedule.

Redbird Robotics
If you are looking for a club that is open and fun to everyone, it's Redbird Robotics! We meet in the fall to build a robot using Computer Aided Design, mechanical assembly, electronics and programming. Our main build season begins in January when a challenge is released, giving us 6 weeks to build a competitive robot for state-wide competition.
- Eligibility Requirements: Open to anyone interested! Beginners are welcome and encouraged!
- Time Commitment: Weekly meetings, with an intensive six-week build season starting in January

SKILLS USA
Skills USA is an organization that empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. Skills USA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica
La sociedad honoraria hispanica (Spanish Honor Society) is a national organization that recognizes high achievement in Spanish classes.
- Eligiblity Requirements: As of April 1 of the current school year, student is a sophomore, junior or senior; is enrolled in Spanish 3 or higher; has completed at least 3 semesters of high school Spanish; is enrolled in the next level Spanish course; and has a 3.5 GPA or higher in Spanish classes taken at the high school.
- Time Commitment: Minimum of 5 hours per school year.

Spirit Club
Sting Cancer
We are dedicated to minimizing the effects of cancer by starting or supporting programs and beneficial activities for the school and the community.
- Eligibility Requirements: Anyone can join! We ask for you to pay $10 dues to help make donations to cancer patients possible.
- Time Commitment: We meet the first Wednesday of every month.

Student Council
StuCo promotes the welfare of our students and a spirit of cooperation among students, teachers, and administrators. We coordinate many of the school’s activities, provide students with experience in representative government, and develop leadership skills.
- Eligibility Requirements: Freshmen reps are elected each fall. Sophomore - senior reps are elected in June for the following year. All must be code approved.

Black Student Union
Black Student Union will create a sense of community among African American students at DPHS. We aim to foster an environment where individuals can uniquely and authentically be themselves.
The club will also cultivate a support system that encourages all to aspire to and reach their full potential.

Clean and Green
This club will promote sustainability and helping the environment, through activities including compost bins, outdoor clean-ups, tree planting, and more. There will be monthly projects and informational meetings as needed.

De Pere Sister Cities - International Club
A group of students who enjoy sharing about our culture and lifestyle with students from other cultures via Google Meets. Hoping to add a travel option as the club grows and expands.
- Eligibility Requirements: This group is open to all students.
- Time Commitment: 2 meetings a month for about 30-45 minutes
- Procedures for joining: contact a teacher, be code approved, come to our next meeting, we are pretty flexible.
- Activity Time Period: This group functions all year. Based on time zone differences we often meet at 7:00 in the morning.
- Membership Limit: There is no limit to the size of our group.

Discover Monthly Music Listening Club
The club's purpose is to discover new tunes for music lovers. Members will discuss the meanings of new songs and rate them. Through fundraising and donations, members aim to purchase music devices and earbuds for those who can't afford them.

Community Circle Club
The club's goal is to prioritize our mental health and create a tighter bond between the diverse groups at DPHS. Within a community circle, we share thoughts, feelings, current events, ethical questions, and more in a judgement-free atmosphere.

- Time Commitment: One meeting per week.

Game Development Club
Girls Who Code
This club aims to open more opportunities for all students, but especially girls, in computer science. We hope to inspire a new generation of computer scientists while providing a plethora of resources to use to improve their learning.

Health Occupations Students of America
This club is designed for students who want to enhance or explore their interests in the global health community, including nursing or any other medical career. Members can compete in regional, state and national competitions.

International Students Club
This club's goal is to build a stronger relationship between the international and local students, as well as with staff and members of the community. Activities will include fundraising, Zoom meetings with exchange students, sharing food dishes and game days.

Investor Center
Just Dance Club
This club aims to implement a fun brain break during Flex. Students can enjoy an energetic environment to socialize and express themselves through dance. Song suggestions welcome.

LEGO Club
Students can unleash their creativity by building unique LEGO creations, while also participating in community service. Examples of service include building LEGO picture frames with assisted living residents, and fundraising to purchase LEGO sets for children in need.

Origami Club
Club members will collaborate, share ideas and create art together. This club also promotes peace of mind. Our goal is to present the origami to local nursing homes. Origami will be made from recycled or unwanted paper.

Pickleball Club
Students will learn how to play the sport and how to improve. All skills levels are welcome. There will be optional tournaments.

Redbird Riders
A casual bike club looking to enjoy the outdoors with similar minded folk going on group rides for 2 to 10 miles.
- Eligibility Requirements: De Pere High School student who is code approved and has signed a waiver.
- Time Commitment: 2-3 monthly rides right after school during the week.

- Activity Time Period: Yearly with flexibility to ride based on weather conditions.

Rock Climbing Club
Scrapbook Club
The club's purpose is to provide a creative outlet and give an opportunity for students to relieve stress and relax through scrapbooking. The club will foster community and teach skills for crafting. Seniors can commemorate their high school years with their creations.

Self Defense Club
The club's goal is to enhance the student experience so that everyone feels safe and knows how to be alert. Members will learn new and easy tactics for getting away from danger and how to trust their instincts. No one will be hurt in training. Occasionally we'll have professionals contribute to our training.

Tech Deck Club
This club can enhance the high school student experience by fostering creativity, collaboration and skill development. It provides a unique platform for students to engage in a hands-on activity promoting teamwork and camaraderie.

Ukelele Club
This club if for all experience levels, even if you've never before played the ukulele! The club can provide up to 7 instruments. Bring your own, or use one of the school's ukuleles. Meet in practice room 3 during Flex every other week. Request Mrs. Cummings for Flex.
