April 14 Make Up Minutes (update coming soon)
There are very important topics being presented and discussed during this time. Please make every effort to have your student attend.
- *Post-Graduation Planning: Students will meet with counselors to discuss future plans, college-related paperwork, and preparation for life after high school.
- *One Love Presentation with Erin Bongers, Director of Health and Wellness at St. Norbert College: This engaging, student-centered program helps students understand healthy relationships and how to build them. Through real-life scenarios and guided discussions, students will learn to identify healthy and unhealthy behaviors, including communication, respect, trust, and boundaries. The presentation also emphasizes conflict-resolution skills, encouraging students to manage disagreements in a calm, respectful, and productive manner while promoting empathy and self-awareness.
- *Senior Information & Events: Students will receive important information and materials related to end-of-year events, including cap and gown distribution, Senior Ball items (senior video interviewing, selling senior ball tickets, choosing menu options and Raspberry Award voting), Senior Class photo taken by Harmann Studios and Graduation speech information.
Senior Ball
Senior Ball will be held at the Swan Club on Saturday, May 16th from 5:30pm-10pm. This event includes dinner, senior memory video and picture slideshow, raspberry awards and a dance for seniors. Tickets will be sold during the senior morning time on April 14th and during lunches on April 29th-May 1st. Tickets will be $45 per person. If you have any photos of your child and/or child’s friend group participating in school events, please upload them to this Google Drive folder.
Mandatory Graduation Practice and School Walkthrough
Students will report to the elementary school they attended through middle school to do a graduate walkthrough where the younger grades cheer them on. This is a special tradition that was started 2 years ago and has been very well received. After students walk through the middle school they will report to graduation practice. A coffee truck will be on site serving a variety of refreshers and coffee drinks free of charge. Graduation practice will take place on the football field (Nowak Family Field) Wednesday May 27th from 12pm-2pm. Seniors will walk through the graduation ceremony, find seats, practice the line-up, etc. Students must have all obligations met (books turned in, fees paid, etc.) in order to receive their tickets at practice and attend the graduation ceremony. Graduation tickets will be distributed to seniors after practice is completed.
Graduation Ceremony – May 27 at 7:00 pm
The graduation ceremony will be held at the Nowak Family Field at De Pere High School. Graduates need to arrive by 5:45. Each student will receive 6 tickets to the ceremony. Six tickets per graduate is based on our current bleacher seating availability. In the event of inclement weather, we will be having the ceremony inside the high school gym. A decision on the location of graduation due to weather will be made before noon on May 28th. Due to the limited seating capacity of the gym, each student will then only receive 4 tickets. No additional tickets will be available.
Graduation Ceremony Live Stream
The graduation ceremony will be live streamed which will be accessible by going to the High School homepage on the day of graduation.
Extra Ticket Requests
Please understand that requesting extra tickets does not guarantee your whole party will sit together or even on the bleachers. Overflow seating is located around the track. People are allowed to bring a foldable lawn chair or stand in the overflow seating. Seating is first come, first serve. Please click to access and submit this form by Friday, May 8th so that we can have an accurate count and time to place the extra tickets in your students ticket envelope which they will receive after graduation practice. Please be aware that we will accept only ONE REQUEST for extra tickets per graduate. Plan appropriately if your student is a member of more than one household. Because it is one request per graduate the student will need to be logged in to their school email account to complete the form.
Handicap Seating Requests
There will be designated handicap seating on the first row of the bleachers and on the track as well. There is ramp access on the left side of the bleachers. Each handicap request will also have one spot for a guest to sit with them. Your entire group may not be able to sit together to ensure that all handicap needs are met. Please click here to access and fill out this form for requests by Friday, May 8th if a guest requires handicap seating so we can have a correct amount of chairs set up.
Sincerely,
Sarah Hardy and Julie Timm
